The Sandbar Beach House
The Sandbar Beach House is a pet-friendly weekly rental property that rents from Saturday to Saturday in-season. This delightful, spacious rental home offers classic beach charm, lots of space and is nestled in the heart of Nags Head at the 10.5 milepost, conveniently positioned between two beach accesses. With four bedrooms and five and a half baths, this three level house sleeps up to twelve guests.

The house is fully dressed with linens and includes all dishes, laundry facilities, games, pool toys and beach chairs. The house is air conditioned and includes cable television, private pool, hot tub and recreation room with kitchenette. The laundry room is fully equipped with washer, dryer, ironing board, and iron. A high chair and pack n' play crib are also available for guest use.

The beach is about 300 yards away, a four minute walk across the Beach Road and over the sand dunes to the water line. The house is within easy walking distance to five local restaurants, art galleries and unique gift shops. Area attractions are just a short drive away.

About the Beach House
The house is a charming three level beach cottage built in new Nags Head style by owner, Mike McVearry, in 2004. The house became a weekly rental property early in 2007. The owner and his dog, Princess, live behind this house on the third level of a sister property, Sandbar Bed & Breakfast. Though they travel together often, Mike is usually found on his deck relaxing while Princess, who is quite friendly, and likes to visit with guests during the day. Beata Faulkner, who manages Mike's retail store, Something Fishy, also manages the Beach House.

Sandbar Bed & Breakfast
Mike also built and owns the house directly in front of the Beach House, which he turned into an inn. Rooms are available for nightly rental year round, providing a unique option for guests requiring additional accommodation at the beginning or end of their weekly rental. Something Fishy Gift Shop
Located next to the inn is Mike's shop and long-time shopping feature on the Outer Banks, Something Fishy, which promises customers "A Fish for Every Reason."
